The selection of Boy Tailcoats are a win, because the black one is high demand. Other than that...nay.

Hairs
Hairdos colored with oldschool cel shading isn't very popular anymore, especially rough cel shading like Mother Goose hairs.

Just what the hell is with the robes? I despise them ever since original gacha came out. The Knight Light Armors deserve the revival--they're one of the best male CC clothes ever invented.

As a set with the Knight Light Armor, they have the same rights to be revived..

Yay! Another chance to get those cute swords. I never understand why people like those pillows, though.

Gacha Review: RETRO POP

Retro never dies!
This is TM's second take to Retro fashion in gachas. The last time I saw retro-style outfit was a long time ago..Pomp Promenade gacha. They had a bit of retro clothing there, and they was a hit.
And now, a shinier version comes out. Again, a HUGE hit!

Personally I think people are spinning because they want to Complete Sheet, as the CSA is yummy. TWO animateds? Hell yeah. TM revived Grin and CW for this..whoa, just whoa.

This time's animated eyes drew the gender segregation line thicker--(generally)no boyish/manly male Selfy can wear the Expressive Girl. Compared to the Expressive Girl, I prefer Cute Winks. What in the world are they speaking? Same with the Expressive Boy. I like the Boy's expression, it looks annoyed, and judged by the way its lips move, it seems that it's angry and shouting. How cute.

 Still, prefer the old original animated eyes.

Backgrounds
Looks somewhat futuristic, but the colors and circles are obviously retro. Very wearable and versatile, but the blue one's almost strictly for retro-lovers.

Tops--Female
The print dresses are a MUST HAVE. You can mix and match them with nearly anything to create a whole new gorgeous look. Yes, they can be used as boy outfits too. Style dresses are funky, and I like the checkered black and white one the most.

Tops--Male
Unique! A suit with bold pinstripes..never saw one before. These suits are colored with daring contrasts, too. Pity that they come in old (think Technicolor) shades, and not very compatible with newer ones.

Hairs--Female
Loving it. The designers did great this time! Lovely colors and coloring style, and they have the right amount of volume. Really look soft, bouncy, and deserves to get in a shampoo ad. Awesome work, TM!

Hairs--Male
Super stylish and has a high-fashion look. Something you'd see in runways. Modern, sleek and chic, yum. Can easily be worn as a girl's hair too.

Accessories
Caps--same fate as the male tops. Aww, those lollipops are really adorable! Haven't seen any sweets in vivid colors lately. Tights? I'd say they're a double-edged sword. If worn correctly, it will look good. If worn with wrong items..a disaster.

Reminded me of Bosomy OPs, due to the bustier-like overlap of diamond-patterned piece. Very good for layering outfits.

Tops--Male / Unisex
Shirt with vests are a sleeper hit lately, aren't they?  Nice detailing with the collar, buttons and pockets.

Accessories
I've seen IRL hairpins that looks like Strawberry Pins, lol. Also seen the glasses. Good thing that TM's making items that are IRL-wearable, I'm quite sick of fantasy items.

Gacha Review: The Selfy Awards

Bet TM designers was inspired by the Oscar.
Yet I don't think Oscar, or any other awards' attendants would really wear things in the gacha, lol.

Whut? A portable red carpet? No. Just no. And even that the item name's Red Carpet, there are two blue carpets. I hate random flying confettis.

Tops--Female
The glam star dress is really..glam. In a bad way. They added too much sparkly embellishments, and ouch, the colors look cheap. Floral dress' design is good, but wrong colors. They surely will look better with soft, muted pastels.

Tops--Male
Liking the concept! Especially the orange one. Looks stylish, playful and extra-ordinary..never seen anyone wearing orange bowtie.

Hairs--Female
A wee bit too "stringy", but overall it's okay. Cutting and model is good, they give out a sophisticated, chic aura. Again, wrong colors (other than the black) and coloring method.

Hairs--Male
I'm sure I've seen many wavy short male hairs before, but this one's exceptional. The way the lines flow--very graceful and natural. The bad part? TM colored it wrong.

Accessories
Mostly junk, low quality items. But I think the roses will be a great touch to outfits.

Prop dresses are yeah, anachronistic, and the green one's a nightmare. TM made asymmetrical dresses with puffy ends look hideous..liking the green color of B.A.Dress, though.

Some of the flowers are cute. The drinks are also funky.


Long story short, there's no point in playing the GC gacha. I'm tempted by the CC drinks, so I'd spin one or two.

Gacha Review: Ace Aviator

Sorry for the long update ==V been busy.

When I saw the gacha title(and font), I squealed. FINALLY! A somewhat militaristic gacha. But oh dear, I was expecting a Saving Private Ryan or Inglorious Basterds-ly gacha. More mature and really militaristic. With buckles, leather, studs, double jackets and belts.AND COMBAT BOOTS. AND BERETS. AND KILLER GUNS. *Rampage*

And then I remembered what my Biology teacher said:
"When you cannot control a thing, set expectations low." --Jaren P.L.Vecino

Now my Biology grades should go higher because I can remember what the teacher said. Ironically, it's not even related to Biology. Ahh, whatever. I fancy some items in this gacha too.

Personally I think the radar thing is enough without the scrollboxes. Not very compatible with most items =/ But will be a wanted item for someone who dreams to world-destruct :P

I was reminded of Winry Rockbell when I saw Mechanic Gals, lol. Why do TM always put triangle-shaped bras and never tube tops?(I WANT TUBE TOOOPS) Looks pretty fun. About the City Gals, they're pretty. I like the soft, cool colors of the 50-GC ones (Not the pink one!) and the bold, fiery colors of the Super Lucky ones. Well, you don't need to equip any more shoes or necklaces, they give it as a set to you.

Tops--Male
Now I really WISH that there's a necklace item called Six-Packs. Or Eight-Packs. So that I can get a glimpse of those pixelscular squares if Selfies wear Mechanic Boys XDD. And oh woot! The Aviator Pilots fits my expectation. Complete with criss-crossing buckles. Nice.

Hairs--Female
Very versatile. Formal yet informal, boyish yet feminine, tidy yet bit messy. Too bad they don't come in a lovely oak color or jet black.

Hairs--Male
Stylish! They look so cool and carefree.

Facial Features
OMG TM. How color-biased. Yes, I like the muted blue, but I think the red faces are worthy to belong in the Super Lucky, too! The reddies are very good looking, and I shall admit that they look better in Selfies with darker skin shades. The Elegant face is similar in appearance with the Smoldering Eyes--I saw GREEN eyeshadow on the blue one. They really suit City Gals, or shall I say metropolitan gals? :P I'm glad that there's facial features. Better and improved. More like Atgames.

Accessories
Simple but attractive and useful :P Especially if you're about to fly like Amelia. Or repair a broken machine.

Not only anachronistic, the design is bad, too. Cheap colors and retro does not belong in the Early Aviation era. Wrong timeline, TM. (And what relevance does they have with aviation? Nothing)

Jackets--Male/Unisex
Super nice! I really like their colors. Even the green one--yeah, green (DARK GREEN, coughcough) is not a common TM color scheme, but this kind of olive green is irresistible. At least for me, it is.

Accessories
Hats--some looks cheap and some are gorgeous. You don't need me to point out which ones, right?
Glasses--WHAT THE HECK--okay. I don't like it, but those glasses may come in handy sometime *Grin*
Gloves--HURRAY. THEY ARE BACK! Baby! The 3rd removed shop item which got revived in gachas! Will be very useful.

Gacha Review: Flower Shop

Welcome to the flower shop! It's the first quarter-gacha. And Atgames (JPTM) don't have it! Whee! Yays.
This gacha has clothing and interior items. Only 8 items, and the complete sheet prize is yummy. Besides, it's cheap.

Tops:
Adorable! I like them all. I can imagine a kid running around in those pretty overalls. The checkered shirt looks ethnic--cool.

Headgear:
I believe that wouldn't fit with spiky hairs that are volume-y in the upper part...

Apron
Similar to Cafe Apron, only longer and decorated with a rose print.

Watering Can
Sleek, more chic design compared to the event Watering Can.

Interiors
Flowers will be very useful as a decoration, beautifully detailed too.
 I really like the flooring, it looks dynamic, modern and simple.

BG
Too crowded to my taste ;( but it's still good. Not very wearable though.

EXTRAS! People strutting their Flower Shop items C;

Cute, isn't it? The muted pinky purple hair matches very well with the shirt and pants. Stunning, daring combination of contrasting colors. Too bad the shoes are too greenish.
Highlight: Matching hair and purple-gradient of the shirt.

Awesome, even that a few almost invisible curls didn't fit the bandanna. She looks casual, yet gorgeous.
Highlight: Kanji T-shirt gives a casual, drowsy feel ;P

Gacha Review: Miracle Star 2 aka Miracle Heart

The sequel of Miracle Star, one of the most hideous but wanted gachas of all time. Ironic, mhhm? And sexist, too. Perfect for hardcore mahou-shoujo lovers! I bet a lot of (tweenage) girls will spin this.

In reality, I know a tweenage girl that spent LOTS of G-coins in the Miracle Star.
(And even if TM's a 13+ site, I met a 8-yr-old girl in Selfytown today. HA! She acts like an 8-year-old too.)


Whatever. Let's review.

One word: Hideous. Even if they are compared to Star's animated--their Purple Devil and Pretty Angel are good--. Wrong color choices. The complete sheet's Villain version is much better. And what makes them worse? The sparkles. Looks very cheap, I tell you. Stephanie ears looks way more expensive than these, honestly.

Tops--Female
Hey, they're quite good. I like the sailor uniforms. Heart Angels are okay, the green and purple one is pretty. Heart Villain..average, quirky, not very good to collect. They're like the Star's equivalent of Starry Style.

Hairs--Female
Tell me that the twintails originally belongs to the Shop. Cheap, cheap looking. The side ponytails are like the proportionally correct version of Neru hair. Looks good.

Accessories
Hairpins and wings are super love! Easy to wear and match. Tambourines--looks like it's taken directly from Tokyo Mew Mew. <<Only mahou-shoujo manga I read til finished<<

What. The. Hell. Are. THESE? The lackeys, I mean. They have no string attached to Miracle or Hearts. Wrong gacha, Lackeys! Uniforms--standard. Headgears--also standard. Metal staffs? That's nice!

Gacha Review: Blissful Nightmare

This gacha lives up its name! Indeed, Blissful Nightmare is blissful. Uber-awesomeness.

Until this time I don't understand what relation does lilies have to nightmares. Well, I like the inverted S-shape of the lilies. Nicely animated and stunning details--it's something you shall be thankful if you get it. Not very versatile, but I bet it will look good on classical themes.

Beautiful. Simply beautiful! And they comes in basic colors, so it'll be easy to mix and match. Elegant and sweet, a must-have! GIMMEH!

In CC ratings, they do 4.5/5. Pretty good design, easy to mix and match with other stuffs.

Honestly, meh. Sure, the sheep is cute and the slippers are good. Lipsticks? Geez. Hate the stiffness of the ribbons--are they starched?

I'm definitely going to waste a ticket.

Gacha Review: Axis Powers Hetalia

Is this coincidental? At my last Gacha Review I wrote something about Feliciano and Hetalia and Marunikaite Chikyuu. Well, I guess I have a bit of divination talent in myself. Yes, I often draw a fashion drawing and next--it appears on TM! Whoa whoa.

This Hetare-gacha, oops, I mean Hetalia gacha is the fourth sponsored gacha in TM. 3rd gacha that costs 75-Gcoins. And that means pure CC users like me--who never own any single Gcoin-- can afford it fresh from the maintenance. Whatever. I still enjoy looking (and reviewing) pretty things *wink

Not every Hetalia character appear in this gacha. The main Axis Powers troika made the most appearance. Beside those three, there's also Switzerland aka Swiss and Liechtenstein too. I was expecting Hungary or Hong Kong..Or Ivan with his sunflowers.

Since this is a character-gacha..Let's review per character.

N. ITALY aka Feliciano Vargas aka Veneziano aka Ahoge-boy /SLAPPED
Feliciano's eyes resemble Cute Wink Brown a lot, yeah, but it still retains the Felicianic goofiness there :D
Clothes: The screen outfit looks kinda cheap. No offense.
Hair: Oooh! Holy ahoge *pulls* The color's very nice. Auburn with highlights.

Germany aka Ludwig aka Doitsu aka Sausage :D
Eyes: So typical of Germany, ever-serious and stoic. Not to mention so cute when blushing >:"3
Disappointed at the face w/glasses. It's exactly the same with the normal face, just adding glasses. (Cmon, we can do it ourselves!)
Clothes: Average militaristic clothing. Not bad.
Hair: Will be practical for cosplays, I believe. 

Japan aka Kiku aka Tentacle-lover *Evil grin
Eyes: GIMME GIMME. That is better than Akahitoha, at least for me :P Love the warm brown gradation.
Clothes: I heart the matte greyish-white color of the outfits. Looks vintage and classy :D especially since it's combined with gold.
Hair: Raven-black hair with side bangs? Win.

Switzerland aka Swiss aka Vash Zwingli
Eyes: Disturb him a bit little and he'll kill you. Vash's face looks damn annoyed.
Clothes: I LOLed at the pinky pajamas, it seems to be very comfy :D The academy uniform's nice too.
Hair: Very unique as it is blonde with darker edges.

Liechtenstein
Eyes: Another face with blushes! Liechtenstein's blush is faint, but visible. It suits shy Liechtenstein very well.
Clothes: Simple but beautiful. I like this better than Elizabeth's dress. (Dunno why, I am currently addicted to classical dresses like this)
Hair: Adorable! Yellow with pinky lowlights win.

Accessories
Kind of disappointed on how simple they are..I mean, wasting 75GC for a barely visible ribbon or a barrel? Overpriced, I think. Well, everything is of good quality..I like the hat, ribbon, and white flag the most. Lmao. Oh, and Pochi-kun is cute too!

Gacha Review: Choco Valentine

Wooyeah! It's nearing Valentine. And here's another Valentine gacha, chocolate-themed. An expansion of Sweet Paradise's popular Chocolate items eh?

Compared to last year's Valentine gacha, I think this gacha has better items--with exception to the animateds. That's pretty obvious when we're talking about Blushes and Heart Teddies, which are STILL a most-wanted item. Even after Alchemy! Sparkling sugar crystals won't ever beat those two.

And there's a gifting event, similar like TM had a year ago. Last year the event was to gift Sweet Sets, and the reward items are highly wanted. Like blue Heart Teddies, white BM and Mouton Coat. This year TM gives us freedom to give away our items (Or disposing trashes), but we shall gift 100 Selfies. Hard work always worth the reward, and I'm looking forward to the Jewel Eyes. C'mon, from 2400+ items in my closet, about half are trashes. The worst part is to type receiver's names..I hope my keyboard won't breakdown after this.

Ok, stop that random blabbering. Let's review.

Excessively sparkly in my opinion. And I don't quite like sparkly items, for example Edward Cullen. Is that really sugar crystals? Or snowflakes? I like their whirling motions, but their attractive movement are overshadowed by those hideous sparkles. Honestly, this will be a neat animated without the sparkles. Or glimmers, or whatever you call it.

Tops--Female

Atgames' influence is more conspicuous in 2011, which is good. Again, nicely done poofy dresses! They will pass as Amaloli aka Sweet Lolita. I'm pretty sure that Lolitas in TM are chasing after these. Color coordination, check--fancy the blue-brown combo the most, but everything are cute. Though lavishly embellished, they look sweet and retains the innocent, angelic aura of the gacha concept.

Tops--Male

Don't exactly know why but they reminds me of Trump King suits. Maybe it's the hearts. I doubt that real boys would wear this, really. Nothing really special but the colors.

Hairs--Female
Sexy. Seriously--it looks sexy. The curls looks really natural, playful and wild. Also love the colors. Definitely a must-have! I dreamt of a hair like this, and now I shall make the dream come true :D

Hairs--Male
Marunikaite chikyuu~ Marunikaite chikyuu~ Boku Hetalia!
That song just POPs into my head. Since there's an adorable ahoge atop--like Feliciano's hair. Natural-looking curls--read Female Hair description above in 3rd sentence--, even the ahoge!

For those who don't know, Ahoge is a part of hair that pops out the hair-stream.

Apart of the headdresses, they're not generally collect-worthy--at least in my opinion.

Same opinion as the male tops': Nice, but will be better in other colors.

Not really wearable =/ I admire some, though. The green-white Stripe Heart is admirable.

Gacha Review: Fairy Kingdom

Ah-haa. At last! A classic magical gacha. To be honest, I expect something better.

Wings? Again? Gee, TM. We have the butterfly wings from Metamorphic, the blue-yellow-purple campaign wings, and a butt wing. Can't you make dragonfly wings? I know a fairy-themed gacha won't be complete without wings, but why must it be another butterfly? I somewhat like their colors, though.

Tops--Female
One mistake. Wrong coloring!Most of them looks..cheap.
 I like the design of Fairy Flight Dress, the pink and purple ones aren't bad. Fairy Wing Dresses looks like an item from the Pastel Spring shop line. Disappointing D;<

Nice, I like them. Way better than the female items.

Hairs--Female
The Akahitoha Hair coloring style looks okay. Good, actually.

Oh gee (>*A*)> First ever gacha that has a bit of steampunk there. Hooray! Since I am a lover of nuts and bolts and gears and all those gaslamp goodies.

T.W. Attires reminds me of Cardcaptor Sakura dresses ;P. Is that cropped crinolines I see beneath the skirt?  Cool. As for the bustle dress, I can imagine someone fall backwards when wearing it. The back bustle is too..heavy? I don't really know the weight but judging from the picture, it is.

Gacha review: Purikura Photobox

Purikura. Another 'sexist' gacha.

FYI, Purikura is a Japanese Photobox. Usually, after photos have been taken, users could decorate their photos with ribbons, sparkles, and all those cutey-sparkley stuffs before printing it. Stephanie Yanez uses Purikura-style photos as her FB Profile picture..at least she did that once.

(Not that I'm fond of those..)

Gacha review: Devilish Sweetheart VS Angelic Sweetheart

Devilish one win, IMHO. Why? I don't like Tender Angel's wing proportion and the pink version of it. Closed Tender wings looks really good, but I don't like it animated.
