I was inspired to do some male fashion discussion cause my friend Dapboy complained that this blog only consists of female fashion. Okay, let's do something that will make Dapboy happy.
Sexism in TinierMe is kind of obvious. Hey, IRL fashion also goes around females more as well. I think that's because females can wear pants--publicly accepted-- but males cannot wear skirts in public, with exception to kilts and traditional clothings. Female clothing also can be varied and modificated in a hella lot of ways.
So now, enjoy my guide on how to be the Stylish Guy of TinierMe.
(I am using my items most of the time, but if I don't have it, I'll use Dreamself.me)
THE JAPANESE GUY--samurai and such
YES, there are a lot of male Japanese-style items out there in TM.
|
Classic look: the innocent swordsman with a sleepy tiger.
Tips: Never use a High Geta Sandals to males. Use normal getas or flats instead. |
You can alternate colors too, like with reds or dark blues.
The cool guy you met at the festival. He likes birds..and goldfishies. Add some more animalistic items and you can enter this into any Fashion Contest when the theme is Animals. Key: Composition and theme. Stick to the festiveness, if you want to.
Key: Silver-blue coordination never fails...when you do it right. Let's go moongazing!
Ta-da! I made a Kenshin Himura. You are free to follow this outline XD
THE PARTY GUY--to balls, proms, and informal nights
Keep it simple--you don't really have to be extravagant.
Up to a formal masquerade? Or you can remove the mask for a classic gentleman.
For a Bond look. Key: Simple is the best. No need to over-accessorize!
Casual, cheerful effect enhanced by the bright colors~ and it's mostly CC. *Yay!*
THE (EXTRA) ORDINARY--Street clothing, casuals, typical IRL-wearable clothing
IRL wearable? Yes. I really suggest you to get one Half Pants with Suspenders, they can be paired up with nearly EVERY top. Top, like shirts and hoodies and tees. Not outfits.
Stripes doesn't always mean pajamas. You can combo the blue top and hood too, but no balloons to match.
Red brings vitality. Don't overuse it though.
Beach guy, complete with a pail and spade. Key: Yellow-blue combination works well. See how the icepop, hood, and pail color match. Plus points! Note: You can substitute the bottom with a Half Pants with Suspenders too.
THEMED CLOTHING--specific roles, occupations..
It's nice that TM's made some to-die-for guy clothing there in Devilishly Cute. Make use of them well. Omit the hat if you have a better substitute XD This is made from my own closet.
Tip: It's good for you to own one or more jackets of that type.
The Bad Boy. I so love this prototype <3
Magical Saints gacha owns some wonderful guy clothing too. See Mr. Archer here? You can sub the bows to rapiers, swords, guns, etc.
Casual(modern-day) fighter type. Yay for platform boots. CC items can be awesome too, huh? P.S: This is mostly CC, 'cept the hair.
Classic, Victorian boy-type. Tip: Invest in some unisex/boy Vocaloid or BB eyes, since they won't ever appear in the Alchemy. 1925, Neru, Akuno Meshitsukai, Cantarella, Gothics, Fundoshi Akumalen works well.
For a childish, classic look ;) Sailors FTW.
Carnival Rabbit Boy, ready to serve some customers. Hint: The black Carnival Boy sets (suit+ears) are pretty much wanted. Good investment, as long as they don't appear in the Alchemy.
Futuristic cyborg. TM gave these Cyborg items for free, so take advantage of it.
Military soldier, ready for war. Tip: You like to dress up like this? Invest in some double jackets and Melancholic items. And guns.
I know most of boyish TM users won't even THINK of using...pastels. Whatever, it looks nice.
Fairy tale child.
This is for now, people. I'm tired. Making this post takes like six hours..
